ABOUT US
The Ridgefield Holiday House Tour is being presented by and benefits the Ridgefield Historical Society and Tiger Hollow Inc., a collaboration between two not-for-profit organizations deeply rooted in Ridgefield and dedicated to serving the community.
Ridgefield Historical Society
Founded in 2001 with the preservation of the 1714 David Scott House, the Ridgefield Historical Society preserves, interprets, and shares Ridgefield’s historical, cultural, and architectural heritage through collections, programs, events and other initiatives. The organization’s state-of-the-art vault is the principal repository for Ridgefield’s historic documents, images, architectural archives, and artifacts. The Society also has charge of the West Lane (Peter Parley) and Branchville one-room schoolhouses.
Tiger Hollow Inc.
Tiger Hollow Stadium is one of the premier athletic stadiums in Ridgefield which supports both school and community events. This large scale facility can comfortably accommodate up to 5,000 spectators which makes it an ideal location for large events. While it’s primary use is for school sports activities, Tiger Hollow is booked throughout the fall, spring and summer seasons with other activities such as: Relay for Life, Strongman Competition, July 4th Fireworks, Adult Soccer, Father’s Day 5K Race, youth league programs, summer camps, etc.
